I also noticed, that on the tutorial video, the terminal has something like 1: node, while in mine, I can see 1: powershell. I only have a file called package-lock.json. The big downside is Node/Homebrew is x86, thus missing out on performance right now. See package-lock.json and npm shrinkwrap. If the package has a package-lock or shrinkwrap file, the installation of dependencies will be driven by that, with an npm-shrinkwrap.json taking precedence if both files exist. I checked, and indeed, I don't have a file called package.json in my user folder. Havent used MAMP in many years as Docker makes so much more sense but on my M1 Node, VS Code (the M1 version), Homebrew, Docker, Ruby etc all work. This command installs a package, and any packages that it depends on. ![]() However, whenever I try to npm run serve as it's shown in the tutorial, it shows an error stating that a package.json is missing: npm ERR! enoent ENOENT: no such file or directory, open 'C:\Users\.\package.json' PS C:\Users\.\Documents\Vue - Getting Started> vue 4.4.1 reinstall node and use many different versions of node (also 10.13.0) try different versions of ionic cli (4.3.1, 4.4.0) and also create new starters. ![]() PS C:\Users\.\Documents\Vue - Getting Started> npm -version dev /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/peachtree > npm run development > development. remove node modules and reinstall it with yarn and also with npm. ![]() I followed all instructions, installed all packages, here is the check I made in terminal in VSCode: PS C:\Users\.\Documents\Vue - Getting Started> node -version I am completely new to this, so not enitrely sure what I am doing.
